In 1792 Louis Marie Aubert du Petit Thouars was a pioneer in French botanical history. During the French revolution, he was exiled to Madagascar, La Reunion and the Mauritius islands where he discovered a vast array of plant specimens. Ten years later and bearing a collection of over 2000 plants, Louis Marie was finally able to return to France where he was elected a member of the prestigious Académie des Sciences.

It will last all day and it will leave you feeling luxurious, and beautiful. It’s perfect for the upcoming summer , not too overwhelming , just soft clean scent . "I want to start off by saying how much I love the simplicity of the packaging of this perfume. A beautiful bottle with no frill labeling snuggly set in a gorgeous matte off white box. Being a cruelty free products you can feel good about using this brand. I love that the ingredients are kept to a minimum and not filling their brand with all the unnecessary junk. The scent itself is timeless. A scent that you can wear to every event. This is definitely a scent that will be loved for years and years. The notes all complement each other effortlessly. I only wish that I could pick up the vanilla a little more. But, that’s a personal preference."

"BSESSED MLM ilica Is the absolute perfect springtime summer fragrance. This is a bright sparkling fresh floral that is so classy, timeless and feminine. This fragrance is beautiful from start to finish but the dry down has got to be my favorite. She Still remains fresh, but the citrus takes a seat and dances around lightly in the background while the vanilla, cherry, blossom and patchouli really start to become the star of the show finishing off with a cozy, warm sensual floral. "I’m a big fan of Maison Louis Marie fragrances and this one smells different than I usually go for it. This perfume is for those who love floral notes but want to be unique and sexy. Patchouli is a bit overpowering but then I can smell some citrus as well. All the scents goes together and makes the perfect and chic blend. I don’t see myself applying this perfume during the day or everyday. It’s more like a perfume for special events. One spray is more than enough to have a truly complex floral experience that will make you the center of the attention. And if you are like me who hates floral granny scents, you don’t need to worry about it. But seriously this scent is sophisticated and not the basic floral perfume everyone hates and makes fun of it."

"I was very excited to try this fragrance. I truly enjoy experimenting with new scents. Sadly, I was quite disappointed in this perfume. It is very potent, heavy, and extremely overpowering. The scent is also very nauseating, in my opinion. Using more than one spritz caused a choking effect. It definitely is a scent for evening wear, probably for colder months. I will say I like the packaging. The bottle is clean and simple. I only wish the fragrance itself lended equally matching simplicity. The complexity of this particular fragrance is just not for me. I can’t even depict the notes in this scent due to my aversion. If you love dark, mysterious fragrances, this will appeal to you. If you love heavy, lingering scents, this is surely for you."
